Hello dear forumers. I need your advise. Where I can get help on career change and career education in Charlotte?

I'm a new American citizen with both bachelors (from overseas) and masters degrees (US) but these degrees are not marketable and I would like to obtain marketable skills or degree in Charlotte.

Thank you for your advise in advance.

Central Piedmont Community College is one the best community colleges in the nation, and it is really cheap. I would start there. If any of your classes from overseas are transferable to UNCC I would also consider this school. I would still rather start at CPCC because you can transfer to UNCC without taking the SAT after fulfilling general course requirements at CPCC if you are dead set on getting another 4 year or master level degree. Join some organizations that involve your prospective career, stay focused, and you will make it! Good Luck.

CPCC is a good place to get a start into many job markets. They have a great auto tech program where the student can really earn good money when finished for ezample

Thank you for your replies. I took some English and HTML coding classes from a US community college long time ago. I can say that com. colleges are really good deal.

I am leaning toward two directions: Training in business (accounting or mba) or technology (network administrator).

Our other posters have given you great info I'd forget the MBA, they are practically a dime a dozen these days. You would probably have more job opportunities with technology. Best of luck to you

In this economy, I would go for two things...it never hurts to have more than one skill to bring to the table.
