The Mayor said on WSOCTV this evening that heroin distribution centers have been setup in the following locations:
Ballentine & White Oak
Providence Plantation & Stone Haven
Plaza Midwood and Mint Hill
Downtown Charlotte and some of the neighborhoods just west of there. (maybe places like Wesley Heights)
People are coming from all over to buy drugs in these locations from heroin cartels that have staked out these areas. It's surprising as they are located in affluent areas. I always thought this drug was mainly a problem in Europe.

This drug has been enjoying quite the resurgance in recent years. It's very cheap and easily available in many places in America, even in Charlotte.
Anywhere there is money you will find drugs. Affluent neighborhoods? look at the private schools their children go to and you will find rampant drug use. I'm not surprised, but clearly they won't be in those locations anymore now that they've been "outed", right?
Em -are you being serious?
The stuff comes into Miami and is then distributed all over the US by road and small aircraft.
I think it was a jab against Illegals
