Say it aint so, I saw a black wolly worm
I hope this woolly warm is wrong or having a bad hair day
I saw a fully black woolly worm today. I was just in shorts and happy a couple days ago
The Old Farmer’s Almanac, the longer the middle brown band on a woolly worm, the shorter and milder the coming winter. The shorter the brown band, the longer and snowier.
woolly worms are close or completely right 57% of the time.

Does that mean we have a 43% chance of having a normal winter? I like those odds.

We've had some mild winters the last few years so I guess we are overdue.

I'm still waiting for the snow that people says closes down the city. I still had to go to work after the show hit last winter.

I saw 2 last week, Sunny. They were almost completely brown.
Maybe they're confused this year.

Meteorologists are saying we are in for a very cold, long winter here in this region, w/ snow and possibly ice storms. I am in agreement that this will be a harsh winter, simply b/c I have seen this pattern too many times. Reminds me of years when we had actual blizzards here, with 2 feet of snow and ice storms that knocked out power in over 1 Million homes.
Of course, I hope I am wrong.
