Outdoor Faucet Insulator/Cover
Well, from a few of the threads and post it sounds like we may be in for a cold winter. So just as a reminder if you don't have the insulator's just pick some up now while they are in stock.
When we had the winter warnings last winter about pipes freezing etc, every HD, Lowe's and hardware store were sold out from Rock Hill to Huntersville with in a day, if that!

Well, thought I would bring this thread to the top again since it is getting pretty chilly at night. Keep your faucets warm at night.

UUggghhh. Hubby and I have gone round about this one. I need to just go out and take care of the hoses and get the faucet covers, as it is obvious he and I disagree on this one. He thinks I am over-reacting. Why, I have no clue as he definitely took precautions when we lived in Kansas. I guess he just can't accept how cold it can get here and how much damage that can cause.
Thanx for the reminder, Nancy.

Got mine at HD today for .99 each. One of my pipes froze last year but didn't burst, hopefully this will help prevent that from happening again.

It cost me ~$2800 last year. We had a leak at the water main just before it entered the house. It was above ground and beneath one of those green boxes, but neither the pipes nor the box were insulated. Not fun. $5 well spent for these socks to cover spigots IMO.

I put mine on yesterday, I'd rather be safe than sorry. They were showing snowflakes again for this Sat, same as last Sat.
