But back to the $20 a nite proposition. You can hardly EAT on $20 a nite in Charlotte, much less get lodging. And the homeless shelters are full.

I would sleep in my car b/f I checked in to a No-Tell Motel at ANY price.

Perhaps that is the best solution. Maybe one could rent a car and sleep in it - double duty, as it were.

I feel rather bad for those of you that keep stating you all are unemployed.
For the nth time , there are several places that are hiring for security. Yeah , it may suck , but it's better than nothing.
Also , that 'girl' wanting a room for a week may be a con artist , serial killer , anything. They may be placing things like this online to take advantage of those like Charlotte/2 in order to either rob them blind , secretly poison them , maybe even break up your happy home.
I know times are tough , I have had to slumber in my car prior to landing the position I have now;call it paranoia or whatever but trust is something that is earned.
Regarding the 'bait' , I do not like it.
You cannot trust them.
Don't let seemingly easy money lead to your downfall!!
