For sure. Admittedly I am beyond the age for these kinds of things, but when I was in my 20s in the 1980s in Charlotte these kinds of things could be found in the more derelict parts of Charlotte, usually in the vicinity of an abandoned shopping complex. I remember going to some that easily had more than a 1000 people there. I suspect these days that Charlotte is much too conservative for these kinds of things, but I could be wrong. This isn't exactly something you will find advertized on the 6pm news by the Rug Girl from Gaffney.
