I don't know of any place, but we decided not to buy season passes this year--- last year we got them for 49.99 each, this year they are 69.99 and right now they don't include free parking (as they did last year). Perhaps we missed the early bird special that was cheaper that did include the parking, but we just decided not to buy them this year when we checked those prices.

You might want to check out Harris Teeter. I know you can buy tickets there. I wonder if you could find them on eBay?

Thanks for the suggestions, with passes and parking it could easily be $300.00 which is too much for a place to have fun and a $5 coke.

Same here. Since they were bought the prices have increased. We probably won't even go this year. Last summer we spent at least 1 or 2 days a week there.

Little fun fact (but you have to wait until October)....at Scareowinds (when Carowinds is "haunted" in the fall), they have a blood drive...everyone who gives blood gets a ticket to get into the park free.

Of course, I don't recommend riding a coaster after giving a pint of blood, so maybe it's not such a great deal after all....

I could kick myself that we didn't extend our one-time ticket to a season pass, when they were offered at a considerable discount on opening day in March. We got our tickets at Harris Teeter, BTW.
Our kids really enjoyed Carowinds.

I don't know if this is still the case now that Carowinds has new ownership, but you used to be able to take that ticket that showed you had been in the park early in the season & convert it to a season pass at any time. Might be worth a phone call to the info office out there to check.
