Forest Hill would be a good choice - great music, GREAT pastor, huge campus with lots of offer.

Side note, one of the guitar players at Mosaic is the son of one of the guitar players at one of Forest Hill's extension campuses.

Well might as well bump my church.

I am the bass player there. Our music is off the hook! Some videos I took below:

This weekend is gonna be pretty cool. I suggest the middle service (10:!5). That one is the most packed = most fun.

If you come my name is Todd, I will be the bass player. DEF come introduce yourself.

Southbrook Church is in Union County-I think you'd love it. You can check out the website southbrookchurch.com. I've been to NextLevel-it's a good one, too. Also Elevation-which is actually Baptist but very contemporary. These two along with churches like NextLevel and Threshold really sound like what you're looking for.

I have been to all those and now attend Southbrook. The music is outstanding, Pastor is wonderful, people are warm, Starbucks is always available, and my children cannot wait to go to their classes.

Good luck to you and the family!

Your church looks like the kind of church we've been looking for. How many people do you average in a worship service?

How could any one sleep with that loud music?

LOL, honestly, I think all the churches I mentioned are wonderful. It's so awesome to be part of a church with new believers as well as churched. What life these places have!

I wish I knew your name so I could tell Pastor Rob If you know him, you know he'd laugh.

Oh, wait, I just saw that you are Todd, the bass player. Gotta come check you out one day.

We average in the 800s (that's all 3 services total). And we are not even a year and 1/2 old..

We just recently moved to 3 services to accommodate (use to be 2). Little more work for the worship team but hey - serving others is serving God. Besides I love playing bass.

Our kids ministry is growing thru the roof...I see that as the best thing.

Seriously though I am on stage almost every Sunday, you cannot miss me. Name is Todd. Please introduce yourself if you come to either of the 3 services. I will make sure you meet everyone. Church is not any fun if you do not know anyone.

Quick edit: Yeah, I played Bass at Southbrook for a month before we found Next Level (we were Calvary refuges lol). My wife and I know Rob and his wife from Calvary Church. Karl (the electric guitar player who was at Southbrook for a few months is now at Next Level). He runs his own lesson shop off of HW74 there, Street Wise music. Now this guy CAN play electric guitar..oh man..
hehe

If you're in the north or northeast area of Charlotte, First Assembly in Concord would be an awesome choice (concordfa.com). The services are contemporary, and the pastor preaches very relivant messages that apply to our everyday lives. You wouldn't fall asleep. Great ministries for all ages. My sons (14/11) love the youth programs so much, they actually hate it when we have to miss services from time to time.
