Default looking for new church around charlotte area, music, drama, coffee, and great pastor

Hello,
My family and I will be relocating to the Charlotte area and are looking for a great new church within 20 miles.

Our current church has the Pastor playing guitar, a large band, drama, easy to follow worship and a great kids ministry....oh and there is always coffee on........Are there any churches like this in the area?
Thank you all
siresse

Wow, sounds like the church we use to go to in Sugar Land TX. Haven't found one here yet. I'll be checking back to see if any one knows of any like that around here.

There are many non-denominational church like that. I am not familiar with them all, but Elevation Church is one that I can think of off the top of my head. SouthBrook in Weddington is another.

Also, some churches have a "church within a church" that would fit this description. They have the more traditional/contemporary services and then they have one that is "more contemporary" than their normal contem. service. Carmel Baptist has "The Roc" service and Weddington United Methodist has a service they call the 9:19 service.

You will find plenty I am sure.

You should not have any problem finding a good church here.

Southbrook would fit all of those criteria. Great kids program. The non-denominational churches are harder to find here.

Any one familiar with Harrison UMC south of Pineville? It has contemporary services and a kid's program.

Default Church Locator - United Methodist

New to the area and looking for a church home? May I suggest visiting a nearby United Methodist congregation? The United Methodist denomination's motto is "Open Minds, Open Hearts, Open Doors."

If you are relocating to Western North Carolina (which covers Charlotte and surrounding counties), you can locate a nearby United Methodist church by using this weblink. First sort by county, then look for a nearby town and click on the link that takes you to that church's info....
