I can't say that I know much about stamps as I collect coins, but given that it is most likely similar I would offer up that don't sell the collection (if that is what you are looking to do) until you know exactly what it is worth. I was at a coin show just today and watched a poor fellow bring in some silver coins who got absolutely taken by the party who bought them from him.

Your best bet to look for some quick pricing is to do some ebay searches to see what your stamps go for on there and do some searches for some discussion forums such as this one where its discussed.

contact John's Hobby Shop in Gastonia, NC
704-865-8141

speak with Glenn Harris

He and his father John are very nice people.

While they don't have stamps in their store, Glenn is VERY knowledgeable (about many of these hobbies) and surely lead you in the right direction in this area.

I don't know anything about the company, but when I was looking to possibly sell my collection, I did a search on the internet and found this company: AARD

Never did end up contacting them, as I live near Boone and rarely have the time to get down there. But I had put the website in my favorites in case I wanted to maybe visit the store in the future.
