Default Tech or Community Colleges In the Queen City

Hello I am starting this tread because I plan to move to Charlotte here very soon, but I want to start at a community college or tech school before heading to UNCC. So I have a few questions.

Which tech or community college would you recommend?

When I move to Charlotte I want to be close to a creative area close to uptown and possibly easy access to the Light Rail system.

I know the Epicentre just opened up. how good is it because I want to be able to experience Charlotte's night life?!

Thanks so much!
