Blockbuster's days are numbered, unless they try to mirror and compete with netflix and red box. they should come out with blue box.

Movie Gallery closed in Rock Hill the other week. The Manager told me she belonged to Netflix.

Hopefully, niche stores such as VisArt Video won't close. They have a lot of older & foreign films that Netflix & Redbox don't carry.

Blockbuster went from free membership to demanding $20 to rent a movie. What's wrong with that scenario?

I used to rent from Blockbuster regularly, then moved, and they wanted money for a new membership.

I got some nice deals on video games at the location on Fairview. They are now officially picked-over!

Honestly I hope they go under. I never had any good experiences with them in the past. The late fees they charged were highway robbery. I switched to Netflix a long time ago and did not look back. If I want to go into a physical store I just go to Visart Video. At least there it is local owned and if I do not get a movie back in time they do not gouge me on the fees.

I believe I read somewhere they were planning to shutdown 700-800 stores nationally.

I haven't been to a Bb in 5-6 years. I never was one to rent movies much so I won't miss them but we sure don't need more people out of work.
