Yeah I never understood the pop thing either. Sheesh. It's soda, folks. I tell my husband that ALL the time

I have never understood why people say soda or pop. If you say soda or pop you might wind up with a Pepsi, RC Cola or something else gross like that. I only drink Coke so I only say Coke.

Another boring trolling thread about "loud Yankees and dumb Southerners". Not sure if those two "insults" are accurate, but for sure we are lacking creativity when we keep going back to discussing the same old thread.

why not just call it soda pop then it is a even compromise

YES!! let's do "where is the best NYC pizza in CLT? or "moving with kids from Midwest, looking for good schools" and my all time favorite...."Southeners don't know how to drive in two inches of snow, but we Yankees do because back in NY we drove over 3 feet of snow every day..." LOL
