Target opens at 5am on Black Friday and I want to pick up a TV that will go very quick...what time do you think I need to get there to line up? I've never done the wait on line thing on Black Friday, so I have no idea what to expect. Thanks!
i was a supervisor at target for 5 years so let me give you some advice. Just because Target has something on ad for black friday does not mean it will be there on Friday Morning. On Wednesday evening i would call the store or stop by and ask them if the item is stock before you waste your time standing in line.
Alot of vendors cannot keep up with demand and unfortunately alot of stores get no product in. It happens all the time.
I'd head on down there now. Be at the front of the line.
Yup. Get your camping gear and plan to deep fry that Thanksgiving Day turkey right there in the parking lot.
Seriously though, all snarkiness aside, I have never understood the people lining up outside a store at 3:00 AM the day after Thanksgiving at a store. Are the deals that good to warrant making this kind of effort?
Depends on the Target and how crowded they are. I have done Target several times on BF and usually get in line around 4am although by then there are usually 20 people in front of me. If you know of a Target that is away from other stores, you are better off as it will be less crowded than one where there are other places around them. It also depends on what you are looking for and electronics usually go fast.
Stuff would have to be 99% off for me to get up that early, on my day off, and wait in line...
Just saying.
^^^^ What he said.
