I think its funny that people are all mad. But if you come from up north 4% every 2 years is nothing when they raise you a lot more than that a year. I do think that they need to increase it because of all the imports are overloading the area and yes I am one of them .

More imports mean more tax money anyway. I'm just afraid they will never stop raising it. The growth in Charlotte is nothing compared to the west and we never had a tax increases. I knew I should have picked a different county

where I am from in NJ standard taxes on a 200-230k house are around 4000-6000 a year. So its not too bad down here.

people are mad because we really don't get much for our taxes. There are opinions that we have enough revenue but the county has wrong priorities.
I do not beleive building the arena was wrong but you'll hear that we need to build more jails instead and so on, you'll hear that it all goes into some black hole and we see very little improvement.
