^ There used to be a BD Mongolian in Sycamore Commons in Matthews, but it didn't last.

There was a privately owned BD's style restaurant on Woodlawn near South Blvd years ago. A client's father owned it, and I ate there at least twice a month. One of my coworkers would dump lots of hot chili oil on his food, and the cook hated cooking it. He'd point to his eyes and nose and say "too hot, too hot, no cook" over and over. It got to be a fixed comedy routine after a while.

No, like said in previous post, the whole buffet is all you can eat. Between the cold salad bar (peel and eat shrimp) and two trips to the habatchi, I got more then my moneys worth. (even without the ice cream which grossed me out)

Yes,it is a small selection habatchi, but all the essentials are present. I saw - shrimp, beef, pork, imatation crab meat (yuck) and lo-mien noodles and veggies. Pick garlic sauce, habatchi sauce or teriyaki.

With the coupon someone posted it is a steal.

Anyone know if the China buffet was similar to this right across the street by Fontanella-Carrabas?
Curious because altho we did not try them, I understand they were not open very long?
Maybe they did not have the habatchi part? Which is the only reason we made a visit.

Went tonight with the fam. It reminds me of a place at the beach (none in particular). Food was surprisingly good, well worth the price.

Not a fan of the business myself, but the Quizno's in Morrison Plantation (Mooresville) re-opened this week under new management.

I also saw today that there are some Opening Soon type banners hanging at the former RJ Gators off Exit 28 in Cornelius. I went by there in lunch hour traffic on my bike, so I couldn't gawk over to read the sign more thoroughly.
