Well, it's nice to see that while Wells Fargo left their "heart" in San Francisco, they left their "change purse" in Charlotte. I bet that amount is darn near half of the CEO's salary. And...it is tax-deductible too! For me, the best present is replacing the ATM machine with one that doesn't ask that idiot question, "Do you want your card back?" at the end of the transaction, with one of more recent vintage that spews it out in the middle of "business", so you don't forget it!

It would have been nice if the $25B "gift" they received from the tax payer had been used to actually help with the recession.

me thinks that this is may be a publicity ploy to bring people into Wachovia (a Wells Fargo company) branches to open accounts and deposit money.

(not that I am cynical or anything )
