Good morning,

for all who speak or had spoken German, here in town is a German church www.germanchurch.org, 1001 Queens Road, Charlotte, they will help to improve your German for free.

They have audio files on the web page where you can listen to the last sermon.

On Sundays, they give out printouts of the sermon. You can listen to the sermon and read at the same time and in between you can sing German songs.

When you have questions to the German language they will help you as well.

Also they plan for January 2010 to start a Bible study group in the German language.

German is a cool language.

Take care and God bless

John

Default You are welcome

Grüß Gott yunuscan,

you are more than welcome.

I visited the Christmas Eve service and wow, awesome :-)

They did a Christmas play and normally Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus, but nothing of this.

Only one man played the whole play and the main character was Santa Claus, who kneeled down in front of the manger. And than the pastor preached about Jesus Christ and the real meaning of Christmas - wow.

It was a powerful play and sermon.

By the way, do you live in Bartin at the Black Sea? If yes, my grand-grand-grand-parents lived on the otherside of the Black Sea. There was a German community.

Take care

John

They used to have it at Chef's Market which has closed. They should never have moved to Matthews into the well-hidden building they bought. Possibly Dean and Deluca at South Park has it, but I would call

Default Quark maker

Hi,

when I make Quark, I use a quark maker (yoghurt maker) for this.

The only thing you have to buy for this is buttermilk.
