I really want to jog around the neighborhood and take Indigo walking but unless I bundle up in some ski clothes it ain't happening

The last place I worked for in CA, I worked for the snowboard division so I've got lots of warm snowboarding jackets. I love my Gore Tex!

Well, I'd check my weather station but it died yesterday. It came with 2 units and the one that is still working is upstairs and I'm too lazy to venture up.

I think were getting a little wind chill that is keeping the temp lower or "feels like" as they say.

Just checked the 10 day forecast again and next Sunday it is calling for a high of 23 and low of 11!

Let me tell ya, DH and I are loving the seat heaters in our new/used car! Although I'll be driving and I'll start getting warm and DH has turned my seat up to 5, stinker! I so have to keep a close eye on him.

I drove to the post office this afternoon. The VW said it was 31*. It has heated seats too. But I also have long underwear so it wasn't overly cold.

That low of 11 is being conservative. Some models say Charlotte could dip near zero next week, with portions of the Piedmont possibly going below zero. A real cold regime we are in.

I think I need to invest in some long underwear, although I'm not sure my jeans would fit over them (see losing weight under New Year resolutions ). When I went out at 11:30 my VW said 32 with a snowflake/ice. I may have to venture up to Bass Pro Shops, when I went 2 years ago they had the flannel lined jeans, oh those sound good right now.

I took labby out just before the sun went down and I put his coat on, he did good this time and only tried to grab at it when we got back in the house. Maybe he's getting over the initial embarassment.
