Gas is cheap in NJ. its wasted money to buy gas in PA, NY or DE because gas is so much more expensive.

Full service gas is a very nice perk, especially since its been like 0 degrees outside the last 4-5 days

Jersey Girls don't pump gas. When I first moved down here I felt like the girls in this video plus I used a few choice words while trying to figure out how to work the pump. Now I try to have my husband drive my car when it needs gas....cause this Jersey Girl still doesn't like to do that

And btw - NJ is a beautiful state and there are lots of places there that I would enjoy living, especially near "the shore." Too bad taxes are so high. I have quite a few friends who feel they were "run out of" their state b/c of high cost of living. That is just plain sad.
You are so right Ani, as you know I am one of those people. I was just really fortunate enough to live in a very beautiful area and sometime I forget that there are other areas that are not so nice but at least I didn't have to get out to pump my own gas

But the problem is, if the gas station is right across the street, it'll take you 10 minutes to drive 5 miles away from it, go through a jug handle and then drive back.

I'm back in Toms River for work next week.

I don't mind pumping in the cold. If you find a fast pump it's not so bad. I did get gas the other night and it was 20 something. Brrrrrrr

I realize everything is full service there but how do you not understand the basic procedure? I see children pumping their parents gas, adults should be able to do it. *Sidenote: I can't believe they showed their license plate on Youtube.*
