Full list here: Shop Stonecrest Shopping Center - Charlotte, NC (http://www.shopstonecrest.com/shop.php - broken link). Of course, these places are all "chains" but they are not like Chili's or anything. I assume that is what you meant.
Anzi's isn't a chain.

I personally like Qdoba's. There's also a Jersey Mike's right across from the Regal.

I thought they had a location on Independence Ave. so I was considering them a chain. Kudos to you for pointing out that I was wrong.

I second Kabob Grill, especially if you like middle eastern food...yummy. If you want to spend slightly more you could also try Firebirds or Cosmo's nearby. An italian restaurant near there, behind St. Matthews, is Cardillo's Kitchen...Ive have food catered from there and it was excellent, but Im not sure exactly what the prices are, but I know they are reasonable.

+1 Qdoba.

But when I am in that area I'm magnetically drawn to Miro (http://www.mirospanishgrille.com/home.htm - broken link)' paella It's not $10 though...

hmmm, interesting...they didn't have much on their menu that they offer in the catering section. I have had their sausage and meatballs, which they offer in a sandwhich and it was yummy...but really I loved their chicken marsala, chicken salad, pulled pork and baked ziti...tasty! I guess I will have to actually try the restaurant part now. Thanks for the menu!
