Here is an article with some info on new restaurants in Charlotte. I don't trust Helen Schwab's reviews but these might be good place to try.

Have to check those out. The only ones we have been to so far are Mez and The Liberty.

We actually booked a private dining room at the Liberty for Mrs. Tober's birthday in several weeks and the owner worked with us to put together a limited menu for the occasion. Definitely looking forward to that.
