Hey everyone! My fiance and I just got engaged and we're trying to find out how a courthouse wedding works. We're looking for the cheapest way to do this.. we're young, and my fiance is a Marine, and I'm not in a job at the momment, please someone help?

Here is a thread from the past in which we discussed weddings performed by a judge or magistrate. There are links in the posts that will give you all the info you need, I think. GOOD LUCK!!!

I used to work near the courthouse and see girls in their wedding dresses come from getting married there all the time! Congrats!

Now that all Courthouses have metal detectors, how do the fathers bring in their shotguns?
