Default They're dropping like flies!

I just heard that close to half of the people at work are out sick. I know I had something nasty going on from Sunday through Tuesday, and now my parents both have the same thing. All I hear around me in the office is coughing. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? I heard that they may have the buildings sanitized over the weekend.

Uh-oh... yes, Superk, I am experiencing the same thing here at my job. There are two girls in cubicles near me who are coughing like mad!

Superk, go to Dollar Tree & get some hand sanitizer for work & home. Theirs is such a high percentage of alcohol that it works like a charm (& it's $1 a bottle, for big bottles).

Oy, I hope we don't get that - we don't have even the dubious protection of cubicle walls, so pretty much everything gets shared - at least once.

I am home sick today and hope I don't have what you are describing. No cough so far, just congestion & general malaise.

I just read that hand sanitizer should be 60% alcohol. I checked the label and Bath & Body Works is 60%, I like the pineapple one.

Nancy, I always buy the 12 oz bottles at Dollar Tree. I have 3 different "brands" in the house right now. Each one is 62% alcohol.

(I love Dollar Tree for certain things. From what I gather, loving Dollar Tree is a sure sign that I'm a Yankee.)

Yes, super, everyone at work is coughing like mad. Antibiotics seem to be the only cure.

I'm doubling up on my garlic tabs!!

Half the kids at the school where I work came back from Christmas break with runny noses and coughs. Thanks parents!!!! And that's what I have now too. Hopefully it's just a cold. I had bronchitis before Christmas and am not eager to be that sick again so soon......
