I haven't been to this year's Speed Street yet, but I've gone the last 2 years. It's a pretty good time. The streets are packed with people and lined with mainly food vendors. There are also a few stages with free music concerts.

We went 5 yrs ago when we came up for a race. It was a lot of fun, if you go in the evening there are some good concerts.

We went on Thurs from 11-1pm. Great time (although we spent a lot of the time at the kid area)! It wasn't too crowded when we were there which was great. Lots of nice giveaways and fun booths. I'd love to go at night and see the bands but the kiddos go to bed at 7:30pm so that's not happening...

I think Cheap Trick is playing on Saturday. I haven't seen those guys since the 80's and it's kinda tempting since it's free. Not sure if I'd pay to see them these days.
