I am convinced of it: the birds are chirping, the air smells fresh, and it's 70 degrees!

Tell me this is going to last

Is this normal weather for Charlotte in January? This is awesome!

Well, it's more like March . . . but not unheard of this time of year. It usually means we will get lousy weather in February, tho. (Sorry . . . and hope I am wrong!!!)

hahaha - isn't NC great??

It is still winter though, so do expect some more cold days ahead. But these breaks in the weather sure make our winters more enjoyable and tolerable

I was thinking this same thing on Monday as I worked outside in shorts and a tshirt! Listening to the birds chirping, smelling the air...then I realized we got two "snows" between mid-January and the end of March last winter! I fully expect at least one or two more dustings (at a minimum) before we close out winter this year!

Didn't mean to sound so negative, cause for sure - the break w/ some warmer weather is treasured and makes it nicer to get through any more cold weather we may have on the horizon.

It always does this here in January. It warms up some to fool you, cause flowers to bud, then it freezes again. Still, nice that we have it. At lunchtime the weather was 35 degrees warmer than in Chicago.

^^^^ Yeah I was afraid of the "false spring" but hey I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Weather channels are all confused I don't see any rain today :-)

Either way it beats Chicago weather
