I've been reading all kinds of reviews online and am confused as to where we should go! I hear good things about Mattress Firm but then the reviews online are awful. I'm concerned about getting a bed that has been used but sold as new. Please tell me about where you bought your latest mattress...good and bad.

Thanks so much.

Good info on these old threads:

What is the best place to get a cheap bed?

The Original Mattress Factory - Do you recommend them?

Do you mean one of those big king-sized body pillows? Or more of a tube-like pillow some people use for yoga?

I got one of the king-sized pillows at WalMart once, but I'm sure you could find them at Bed, Bath and Beyond, JC Penny's ect.

If you are looking for the yoga pillow I'm thinking you're going to have to find one oneline, sorry!

We bought ours at Mattress Firm and didn't have any problems with them. I messed up the mattress and we were able to get it replaced under warranty quite easily. Didn't tell them that I was probably the one who messed it up.

We got ours at Mattress Firm and have had no problems either.

You do have to remember to take on-line reviews with a grain of salt. In general, people are more likely to go online somewhere an post a negative review when they have a problem, whereas many people who have no issues with a service may not bother to go post a positive review.

I noticed that Sam's Club is actually having a sale right now on single mattresses and sets as well. What type of mattress are you looking for? They have everything from firm to the pillowtop and eurotops which are soft. My boyfriend actually has a pillowtop mattress that is VERY comfortable. Plus, you can get $50 with purchase. Here's the ad i saw.. Twitpic - Share photos on Twitter

We shopped around for a new mattress a few months ago and we really liked simmons mattresses. Mattress Firm was ok but seemed to have more add on fees that were included else where. We actually bought ours from Value City and it worked out great.
