If I was in a masochistic frame of mind, I could walk out of that Walmart, not spend a dime, yet come feeling the same way that those who spend hundreds for that sort of treatment do.

That particular one may have been the single worst retail establishment man ever set onto concrete. I have no idea where, what, when, how, and why that particular one went south, but everything wrong with mankind past, present, and future resided in that Walmart.
You sound like you can be the head Greeter there! I think they hate being there too!

The ppl are frowning because from my experience its not one of the best places to work for, pay is decent and they actually have some decnt incentives aka bonuses and providing us meals but the way they treat you is next to slave labor.
Interesting.....
During my tenure working at the Indian Trail location , I don't recall them offering us meals. Regarding 'addiction' , it will pass once she realizes that there are no other options for 24 hour shopping , or anything for that matter , besides going to Walmart. It's possible 'she' may just be a booster , IDK , but it sounds this way to me.............

this thread is funny. when my DH first moved down here and i was still up north, he would call during his breaks, and each time i would ask him what he was doing, he would say he was at walmart! doing what? "hanging out"....i just didnt get it. then i came down, and i am at the walmart like 3-5 times a week! i cant seem to get away from it. why don't i just make a list and try to go once a month like normal people?!!!

You think this thread is funny. Go to the post of The Native 1 and click on the link to THE PEOPLE OF WALMART. New pictures everyday. Have a shortcut to it on my desktop. Always good for a few laughs. Plus you look at the screen and say "What were they thinking."
I try and stay out of Walmart but often the prices are much better than the other chains. I make a quick in and out early in the morning but now will be watching for the one with the hidden camera.

That place sucked beyond anything I'd ever experienced. Go through those doors and it was like going through one of the seven gates of hell. The level of atrocious at that place defied logic.
