Just saw this article and thought it was interesting. Top cities where renters should consider becoming buyers. Charlotte made the list (the link is at the bottom of the page)

Actually - "Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord, N.C.-S.C." made the list... and the site is borderline unreadable. ugh

The only thing I could get specifically about Charlotte (it's not mentioned anywhere in the actual article) was trying to follow that link and got some stats - that's it... the reliability of which I know nothing about.
