Exclamation HELP I need work!

I am planning to move to Charlotte. I have been faxing, emailing and working with employment agencies to find work. I have 5+ years in A/P work. At my current job I have moved up from processing bills to handling and negotiating discount terms and problem solving. Honestly, I want to get out of the Accounting field into doing things where I'm not confined to a cubile for 8 hours a day. I thought about real estate, but right now I need a job before I move there in the end of June. Can someone please point me to the right direction?

Try Pioneer. I am in the same line of work and the work is out there. Don't let these agencies talk you into anything less than 16.00 an hour for AP. They will offer you jobs all day long at 12.00-13.00 don't fall for it. You also don't want to waste anytime with Hunter Hollis(no jobs), Accountpros(no jobs), accountemps(too cheap)

Aerotek got me my first job, I have since quit and found my own.

If you have sales and use tax experience put a resume in with Mortorsports Authentics they pay good. If you are planning on living anywhere near Ft Mill you have it made go to Resource accounting and they will put you to work for 17.50. They'll test you online.

Good Luck! You should have no problem.

ATLien It might be easier to come in doing what you do, A/P which I'm not firmilar with and then switch careers once your here and have a paycheck.

Do not tell the temp companies that your looking to get out of this field. I told a temp co that one time and the lady lectured me like i Was her kid not her client. I worked in a bank in NY during College and those skills were what I had the best power with when I moved here. I'm hoping to return to college for a career change now that I've blown several years in a job I don't care for.
