Need furnished housing for the month of October, preferably one bedroom, one den in the Charlotte, NC area. (within an hour drive). Need to meet new grandson and look for a new residence while working from a home office. Thanks in advance.
You may want to check out Oakwood corporate housing. I am in the apartment industry and I've worked with them throughout the years and they have a great reputation for setting people up in furnished housing - and they can usually provide a wide variety of locations because of their relationships with multiple communities.
Another good one that may still provide the same service is CORT. If they don't directly lease anymore, they can get you in touch with someone who does.
Both companies have websites that should be helpful.
There are furnished apartments at Atkins Circle in Ballantyne (South Charlotte). It is considered temporary housing. You can try giving them a call. My husband stayed there for 4 months before the rest of the family moved down and bought a house:
They are not cheap, but they are in a very safe area, located near shopping and I-485.
I would carefully consider this complex before making a final choice. It didn't have rave reviews on apartment finder. Below is a link to their website. Copy and paste it on your address bar.
