Anyone have experience with cubscouts in Waxhaw, Weddington, Marvin???
We will be changing cubscout troops next year. The one we are in currently is only for homeschoolers and we will not be homeschooling next year.
So, I am searching for another troop. In preliminary searches I saw that Kensington Elem. has a troop. Is this only for students there? There is one at Waxhaw UM church and they say that they are very active in camping, trips, etc...Then I saw one based at Weddington UM church.
Any suggestions? Any others close by that you like? Any insight or experience in any nearby?
We love scouting and would prefer a somewhat smaller group, active and lots of things for the boys to do and fit in. We want a friendly group!!! :-)
