Banned it?
That's crazy , I hope it's not true.
There are several nailshops on Central , S.Blvd , and the Steele Creek areas.
Lookup Charlotte Nail Salons , the links should suffice.

I think it is illegal to use that 'razor' tool to remove dead skin - chance of disease/infection. You might call and ask if you bring your own tool if they will use it!

Some day spas offer a callus treatment removal- I've had it done at Vivace and it was much more pleasant than the shaving method.

I like Matrix on East Blvd. I also like all of the Elegant Nails in S. Charlotte (all owned by the same people and managed very well).

I've never had any scraping done (either in IL or here). They used the callus removal spongelike thing. And it never really works. Get a PedEgg. They are really good.

None of the places I've been to here will use the razor callous remover... I think it was banned in Chicago too, but most nail places there would still do it whereas here they won't.

Doesn't make any sense to me... it's actually really hard to cut into your skin with those, they seem far less dangerous and less likely to spread disease than the normal cuticle scissors they use! The sand scrubber things never get my feet as soft, either!

I found a great nail salon, but it's in Concord so if you live in Charlotte probably too far.
