morning, all...TGIF

Keith, I gotta laugh; been watching Barney Miller reruns (from the 70's) on Sunday nights (WGN retro night). This is a police show that just highlights the stories of the accused and their interactions with the detectives. The accused are saying things that are EXACTLY like what people are saying today; it is hilarious. Here is a 30 year old show that is as relevant today and it was then. At the time, it was cutting edge (along the lines of All in the Family, only their concentration was the government distrust and the Viet Nam issues)

I imagine in 30 years, it will STILL be relevant.

There have been quite a few of them already in my part of the city.

Well, as all of you know by now, England/USA drew. Seriously, the Americans really got lucky....

morning, all....the humidity is pretty killer already this morning. Think of my son and the others at Mosaic as they have to pack up the ENTIRE church into trailers after the last service today...about 1.00 pm!! This is our last service at Mallard Creek HS and so everything will have to be moved.

Think that some Gatorade will be required.......

It is steamy out there. Lots of Gatorade is required. Good luck with the move!

The goal was lucky, however the us had plenty of chances to score (at least in the 1st 1/2)...england controlled the 2nd half imo, but the us had their chances...

their goalkeeper (usa) is unbelievable

morning all, the church's "stuff" is in storage...with a heat index of 108!! whew!! but, they managed. This week they will be painting and doing repairs at N. Mecklenburg HS before setting up for services on Sunday. DS will be there all week.

So if your child attends N.Meck and they talk about how the auditorium was transformed, it was because of Mosaic church!! (at our expense)

Anyway, another very hot day today; drink lots of Powerade/Gatorade if you are working outside. Have a great one!! (storms again tonight, be careful)
