hi, guys (sorry if that offends), back from the city. It was COLD. WOW, 30+ degree drop on Friday from when I left here to arriving at O'Hare.

Jazz fest was wonderful, walked & and walked & walked. Partook of the three food essentials: hot dog, Italian beef & PIZZA. Uncle not doing so good with many tumors on his face. Probably will be going back in November.

Saw lots of countryside since my cousin now lives about an hour outside of the city. Glad to be here where it is at least a decent temperature outside!

The (security) people at O'Hare airport were especially wonderful, just waved me thru to the front of the line for no real reason!

Good trip overall; now trying to block out the thump-thump-thump of DJ Wannabe.

Hope everyone had a great Labour Day weekend.

I always enjoyed the daily "music selection", CLT related, that Sunny put into place a while back. (It's so long ago I can't remember when it was!)
Maybe we could break someone's arm to take on that project. :>

It seems lately proper manners seems to be topic in this forum use of the word Ma'am, inappropriate kid behaviors the one thing my mom insisted was use of manners.

These five fundamentals should set you in good stead. Good manners are extended to everybody, regardless of whether you know them, on which side of town they live, or whether they tithe.
  • Be Humble: Others first, yourself last.
  • Be Courteous:
  • Behave Yourself:
  • Be Friendly:
  • Be Modest:

Proper Southern Manners

The geek in me notice this was a tripod website so it one of the early web pages from the 90's
I did a page check and it was made on Netscape Windows 95.1
