It looks like the weather we had yesterday is continuing. Did anyone wake up at 3am to go to Kohl's?

I woke up at 4 to go work out - but I do that every morning. Then I spent the rest of the morning in a napping contest with my cat.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I just got back an hour ago from seeing my vibrant
89 year old Grandmother in Kentucky for one week 15 reported posts and only 10 from Charlotte forum in a week not bad at all. At least I got something to do this Saturday night.

I want everyone to know I appreciate what you contribute and for some of you guys I may have been to firm in past but plan to not use point system as much but more warnings except spam & trolls.

I took my camera but everything look dead and Christmas decor was pathetic so no pics.
If any of you guys have seen eastern Kentucky before it looks like it did 20 years ago when I went to school up there; It a place that time has forgot.
Only thing that was gorgeous was the full moon shining over the mountain.
I am so glad to be back on Carolina soil. Have a good weekend!

not me. It is far too early. (I don't traditionally decorate until Dec 15th....at the EARLIEST. The tree goes up on Christmas Eve...that is, if I put one up!)

The tree place at Carmel Commons was mobbed today when I was over there on a job. There was also a crew pressure washing the sidewalk. I thought that was strange till I noticed a trail of blood! Apparently there had been a fight at one of the restaurants that worked its way up to Rite Aid. I hope CC isn't turning into Sardis Crossing Shopping Center.

Not yet, but I did check to see if they are all in working condition from last year & even purchased a few more LED sets. All of my tubs filled with decorations are out of the attic, thanks to my DS. I'll probably start with the indoor garland when we get back from taking DS to the airport this afternoon. I'll start on the outdoor lights on Tues.

That's how we did it when I was growing up. The tree went up on the 23rd & was decorated on the 24th. It stayed up for 2 wks, until "Little Christmas". We always had a real tree back then. Now that I have artificial ones, I can put them up earlier & enjoy them longer
