Sunny, thanks for the post!!Where I am from we get to see them come up on shore and lay their eggs. They are beautiful and very protected there. Big time fines and maybe jail time for killing or harming them.
I stop in the Marine time museum in Beaufort (Bow-fert)
and one of guys had one of them on display amd he said they was in process of coming back in numbers in the population but
they are dying due to plastic bags .

By the way-a plastic bag in the water looks like jellyfish, a favorite food for a sea turtle.

Ok here is Jett. He just got home last night and I have not had time to take any new pictures yet. Bath this weekend. He is so mellow and cute. Definitely puppy getting into stuff but very good natured about being corrected/redirected. We have to carry him up/down stairs probably another day or so due to his stitches from neutering. I have decided on the vet: Long Animal Hospital based on recommendations here and from the shelter.
I have posted a pix!
Jett is sooo cute, what a beautiful dog. I just want to hug him! CONGRATS on the new furbaby!
^ Our vet mentioned that test too. She even said there could be quite a genetic mix in him. Hopefully that means good health.
