What a beautiful photo, Sunny...no, I am not complaining...it is a little sticky in the house (haven't turned on the air yet this year). Might have to turn it on tomorrow while I work (9-4) to get the excess humidity out of the house. Of course, once I get home, the A/C is OFF.

tomato pudding?? do tell

the pool party sounds good...

Go for it and have fun. I will think about you when I put my air conditioner down to 60!

Most weeks I pick up a copy of the Kings Mountain Herald. There are usually announcements of or updates on businesses coming into this area, usually, City of Kings Mountain. It's about 30 miles via 74 &/or I 85 from Charlotte, so I have tried posting openings. With little or no responses, I just don't see a lot of point in it. I realize that it's too far for some, but this is not the end of the earth. When the TV stations show the weather maps west of Charlotte, the eye that you see, just west of Gastonia is the split in 74, & most of that eye encompasses a lot of the north side of town.

If you're looking for work & willing to look here, start a thread where people can post what they are looking for & I'll post if I know of someplace that is or will be hiring.

Party time in Faires farms. Just follow the thumping music!

All are welcome...remember that your hosts are the ultimate party-givers, so, they should have some awesome food and drinks!! However, to be fair, there will probably be a police presence after 11.00 PM, so, you might want to exit by then....

morning all; lovely morning out....supposed to be hot again today...

called the police on my partiers at 11.05pm. told the dispatch that this was a weekly event. by 11.30...all was quiet!! Thanks to my community police officers...hope that we will have established a precedent for the summer. I refuse to continue to have to turn my TV up louder so I can hear it over the neighbour's music anymore!! <end of rant>

hope that all has a great day. First, church, then a picnic to benefit the youth going to camp. Then, housework (yuk)

Well I've decided to take a class in learning motorcycle riding skills at the local Harley Davidson dealership on Independence. I've ridden before as a passenger, now I'd like to drive one. We have 2 days of road course training on the 12 & 13 & 4 days of classroom time. I think the worst part so far has been breaking in my motorcycle boots.
