I'm sitting here making up a batch of deviled eggs for tomorrow, and a few got ruined as I was trying to peel them. A thought occured to me about the freshness of eggs and how easily they peel. Yep, just looked it up, the fresher the eggs the harder they are to peel. Rats! It's not like I can just age a carton of eggs before tomorrow. Oh well, they'll just look a little ragged. Should still taste good, that's all that really matters. C'est la vie!

morning, guys. beautiful morning, it is!! The dogs, who were terrified to go outside last night due to the fireworks, practically tore the back door down to get out this morning!!

Happy Fourth of July: stay safe and be sober when you drive!!

morning all; rough night last night with the dogs. They were so terrified of all the fireworks, I wasn't sure what was going to happen. When all three animals (a lab [85 pounds], a husky [50 lbs] and a cat[~10 lbs]) all try to sit on your lap at the same time, there is danger of my suffocating!! Plus, I was dogsitting another pair of dogs, but, they were at THEIR house which was even closer to the fireworks that the neighbours were setting off. Was not sure how THEY were reacting and scared to leave mine. WELL, by the time the cops came and all was quiet, went to the other house and they seemed nonchalant about the whole thing. It was hard to go to sleep after all that.

...ANYWAY... hope that everyone enjoys your day!! sorry for the rant.

morning everyone. Yes, another hot one, but, like eta says, at least we are not looking at a 19 day stretch again. Be careful out there if you work outside, drink lots of sports drinks.
