Are there any options for treatment besides surgery? Blood clots are nothing to play with. Several persons I know have perished as a result of them becoming transient.
Do you take aspirin?

Good morning.
What happened to this thread? It used to be much more lively - now the population has declined.

I think that most of the regulars no longer post on the forum in general, let alone participate in this thread. Too much animosity towards us.

I tend to lurk more these days. Reading more than posting. I know some people were a bit turned off by all the us vs them/north vs south negativity that was going on for awhile. It's gets old & people get tired of it. There were a few very hot threads there for awhile. Also, I think people tend to be busier during the summer & post less.

And a Good Morning to all of you!! First day of Fall...AAHHhhhhh!!!!!!!

OK, what does everyone think of the new TV season so far? I'm glad to see all of my favorites back (Chuck, NCIS, Bones, and Fringe), but I wonder if there might be something good, especially a sitcom, that I might be missing out on?

Haven't seen much of the new season yet myself, but I did watch 2 & a half men, Castle & NCIS (original & LA) & the new HBO one with Steve Buscme. Pretty good so far.

These shows haven't started for the season yet, but I absolutely love Modern Family and Community. Community had to grow on me a bit, but now I'm completely hooked. My face hurts from laughing after both of them. I'd say they're both worth a try.

Mike & Molly, on Monday nights seems to be very promising.
