I am currently living in Atlanta, GA, I got a nice 1 Bethroom+Loft apartment in the heart of Buckhead (About 1100sq/f), I like the city living, I am single so I go out often, I ride my Motorcycle around town every time I can (Avoiding traffic and highways as much as I can). I like to have restaurants, bars, nightclub and places in general where i can meet people and maybe even a future girlfriend.
I am being offer a great Job at Charlotte, NC and I need to start researching my living situation so I can evaluate how good the offer really is, I don't really have any idea about the cost of living in Charlotte compare with ATL, but I want to have a better idea of what are we talking about.
Which places should I be looking for, that offer me somehow close experience that I have in Buckhead? 1 Bedroom apartment or condo (with a loft maybe?) would be great.
Any feedback is 100000% appreciated, I don't really know where to even start.
Thank you for your very useful and valuable feedback, if that make you feel better or superior, yes it is at Walmart, even people that work at Walmart need a place to live.
Hey there! I'd recommend visiting first to get a feel for it--it's not super long drive. It sounds like you enjoy the urban lifestyle a lot, and unless you live right in the middle of uptown (and there's not many options for that other than the expensive), you're not going to find that in Charlotte.
Lake Norman area near Huntersville /Cornelius. Quick access to highways. Places to ride your bike that are rural and scenic. Nightclubs, restaurants and shopping. Also family friendly for the years ahead.
Thanks guys. or the feedback, I'll start at those places.

When you say that uptown is expensive, how expensive is "expensive"? so I have an idea of the rentals in the area, what would a decent 1B apartment uptown would run for?
Any specific area I should absolutely stay away from?
Do a search for uptown apartments, I'M sure you'll find plenty of listings online. Shouldn't be much, if any more expensive than where you are now. Uptown or South End would be your best areas to keep the urban lifestyle you enjoy. Just know that Charlotte is about a quarter of the size of Atlanta. Good luck.
BTW, the genius who just joined this forum and decided to insult you, does not represent the way we greet people here, so don't give it any attention.
If you told us what part of town your employment opportunity is in, along with your expected budget we might be able to guide you a bit better. Condos and apartments in Uptown and South End run around $1300-1400 for a one bedroom and go up from there. Some areas that might be possibilities could also be SouthPark and maybe even Ballantyne, but you will want to consider your commute carefully though Charlotte traffic is nothing like Atlanta. Atlanta is a smidge more expensive than Charlotte - especially for housing close in and in a good area, Charlotte will have more options in good areas.

Thanks a lot.
Workplace would be at Lancaster Hwy, Charlotte, NC 28277
Budget, well, I am thinking that I want to stay around $1100 - $1200, but again I am just starting my research, so I am more interested on finding out the "real" price of an apartment equivalent to the one i got now and in an area that will offer (as much as possible of course) a nice single experience, this way it will help evaluate how good the Job offer really is.

No worries, I didn't think so, no one that invest time for such a useless post deserve my attention or even consideration.

Given what you are looking for, start with South End.
This area is just 2 minutes out of uptown, along the light rail and near many spots single people frequent.
In particular, look at these complexes, Circle South End and Spectrum South End.
Given that you are going to be working south of the city, you do not want to live any further north than uptown
