Default 55 & over communities (SE Char/Union)...

We are trying to convince my parents about moving to NC. Just wondering if anyone knows of any 55 and older active adult communities in the Matthews/Union County area? Also, pricing.

Quick check on MLS shows The Cottages in Pineville -- I have not been out there yet. My parents just moved to Sun City in Lancaster SC and absolutely love it. I can tell because it is increasingly more difficult to get them to babysit They are 13 minutes from my house -- I live in Hunter Oaks in Union County (closer to South Charlotte/Marvin area) In SC there is Sun City (priced from 200s to 500s) and Four Seasons at Gold Hill (generally in the 300s)
