Default Moving from Dallas to Charlotte

I just moved here from Dallas TX. Anybody else here from Big D or Texas. I am currently renting in University City, but would like any info on any other area in Charlotte. No kids yet so schools dont matter. For apartments I like to stay under 700 month or a house under 200,000. What are some of the fun things to do around here, and some nice restaurants(any price). I like things like arts, culture, museums, theme parks, shopping, go-cart racing and other fun stuff like that. I love Charlotte alot and to me seems almost like a smaller version of Dallas thats growing just as fast. anybody else can compare the differences in Charlotte to Dallas I Love it better here in Charlotte.
