There is a new active adult community in the north part of Charlotte called "Bailey's Glen. I just found out about it. I like it better then Sun City because I don't think it will look as cookie cutter. It has all the amenities but not a golf course. Although it is nicely nestled among 4 different courses. The flier I received said it will have a fitness center, pool with spa, tennis courts, and bocce ball. Full time activities director. Planned get aways. Home prices start at $229,000.

Goggle it-

Default Historic Savannah

I am also an active adult and I love Savannah, GA. There is a lot to do, great weather and the beach is just 14 miles away.
