Well when one puts questions out there you can expect to find and get many varied responses. You should look to see where the majority of the response fall. You have opened two threads with basically the same information. People have been trying to help you based on their opinions, expericences and info that they have. I suggest that if you want to close the thread PM Sunny and ask him to do it.

I lived in Denver for 2-3 years back in the early 2000s. Phenomenal city. Bigger than Charlotte, so the traffic's worse and it takes longer to get places based shearly on size. I love both cities, Denver and Charlotte.

I know I can get this on some weather site, but I'll get more of an idea if you can give me an estimate based on what temperature it felt like to you when you were living there. Thanks!
I was looking into Denver myself....and you never know I might just end up there eventually, although I must admit I'm loving Charlotte! Actually when I was a child we lived in Aspen and Boulder for a short time. I don't remember much of it on a first hand basis but my mom and other friends tell me that it can be 40 degrees one day and 60 the next. It has a lot of snow but from what I hear it can be snowy and cold and then the next day be melted completely. Nice clean city but if you want to get away from the cold completely I don't know, I still think you'd be happier in Charlotte...but only you know what you want. Best advice is to check it out yourself, do research yourself and then make a decision based on it.
