possibly moving to Moorseville, need some advise.
hello everyone. i may possibly be making a move to moorseville here soon. my cousin in law works for a nascar team up there and is working on getting me a job.
i will probally need to rent to start off to make sure everything goes smoothly. is there a website i can search for homes for rent? an apartment would work also, but preferably a home with a decent sized yard. im not having much luck on finding stuff thru google (although ill admit, im internet impaired)
also, what is life like in Moorseville? from what im reading its a small town and not a whole lot to do.
i will be coming from Jacksonville, Fl.
any help/comments is greatly appreciated.

Try Newport Properties as they are a rental agency that can help you find what you need.
As far as nothing to do in Mooresville, i would not exactly say its that small town like you may be thinking. Its a growing community with surrounding towns close by.You've got the Lake in the summer, Birkdale Village and alot more but not so sure what you like to do anyways??
What is your age,married,single- what do you like to do in your spare time, etc???

try CHARLOTTE, NC Apartments for rent - ApartmentFinder.com
Mooresville zip codes: 28117 & 28115
As for things to do....what are your interests? Mooresville has the Lake, parks, bike trails, shopping/lots of shopping. And approx 25 min from Charlotte. Good luck on your search

umm my main daytime/recreational hobbies are drag racing, boating, jet skiing, fishing, bike riding, baseball, golf, pretty much anything outdoors im game for.
i am 22 years old, single, male, so i do enjoy nightlife also. i enjoy a good sports bar, pool hall, or a club if the environment is right.
im near jacksonville now, which takes me anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes to reach whatever i want basically. i live in middleburg currently, which from what im gathering, is smaller than mooresville.

You will not be far from Lake Norman, so make friends with someone who has a boat. Also, Carolina Blonde's brewery is in Mooresville and offers tours on Saturday. And a ton of stuff do down the interstate in Charlotte.

There is just as much to do in Mooresville as there is to do in Jacksonville. Your water hobbies will need to change from salt water to freshwater.

the majority of my water hobbies are all freshwater. my grandpa owns a lakehouse in keystone which hosts some awsome freshwater lakes. to be honest, i hate the ocean/saltwater. i don't mind the beach, but i hate the water.
its sounding like mooresville is a promising town for me.
