I am considering purchasing a home in Callonwood, stallings final phase built by M/I homes. My greatest concern is the neighbouring area across from Woodglen Lane, which has a few run down houses? What is security like, and any ideas if there are plans for this part of the community? Would really appreciate some feedback

I live in Chestnut Oaks, which backs up to Privett Ln/last phase of Callonwood. Some of the people who live behind the community/our street are sometimes loud and obnoxious (sorry, but they are rednecks, cursing and yelling til all hours of the night). Our neighbors across the street had their home broken into but once they put a fence, that stopped (they already had an alarm installed). All that being said, it's actually an ok place to live. We have had no issues other than seeing people who live back behind the neighborhood walk through people's yards on our street to get into our community for whatever reason. The worst cases of vandalism we've had in Chestnut Oaks are actually from a kid in our own neighborhood. We've been there 4 years and it's relatively quiet. No crime or violence that I have heard of...well 1 person was shot in the Privette/Springhill area but it was by someone he knew. But we are happy where we live and are not looking to move.
