I know there is a job shortage in Charlotte. I've been to the vast majority of job search sites including craiglist, careerbuilder, etc.

I thought it might be worth asking if anyone knows of a law firm that is currently looking for a paralegal.

I am a strong trial litigation paralegal with 7 years of litigation trial-prep, case management and litigation support experience and I have a very stable work history. I assist attorneys in resolving lawsuits; investigate the facts of a case; interview clients and witnesses; perform legal research; draft pleadings, deposition notices, subpoenas, motions, briefs and other legal documents; organize and manage files, documents and exhibits; file documents with federal and state courts; and assist at hearings, arbitrations, administrative proceedings, closings and trials.

I am really efficient at what I do. I am currently working but I have an inkling that my employer will not be in business soon for financial reasons and it has me very concerned.

I have a resume prepared if anyone has any leads. There just doesn't seem to be much out there right now.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Good luck with your job search. It is a tough market but it won't be like this forever.

The market is over saturated with paralegals at this time. It doesn't mean you can't find work, but it will be 3x as hard. Good luck!

I completely agree. I know two experienced paralegals having a very hard time right now. I even know a few lawyers who were let go from their firms
