Elevation is already here (just in different locations) and not likely to hire anyone (for pay!)

Thanks Chicago, maybe I didn't clarify. I'm just wondering what else going on - a new place that is already here but is opening a new location in another part of Charlotte still counts. It also wasn't really about pay or how many jobs its going to bring it was just about what new businesses are coming to Charlotte or just opened! Not as popular of a thread as I anticipated....

I never thought of a new church as a "business" before. Well...I have, but probably in a different way. At least not one where I would add them to the list of companies and / or retail establishments.

Was in South Park Mall over the weekend and saw something for a new store opening soon. Do not quite recall what it was however.

I also have heard that a Taco Mac's is opening next month in south Charlotte.

dude, seriously? You're seriously gonna comment on a technicality such as if a church is considered a new business. Well, the OP (Hi! That's me!) used it as an example of what was going on here - so I think its safe to say that its fine. We are all smart enough to figure out what I was trying to do here on this pathetic result-lacking thread....if you didn't, here goes - I wanted to know if anyone has heard of any activity of new businesses or ESTABLISHMENTS or anything coming, opening, changing locations, ect. to Charlotte.

I heard Taco Mac is going to have around 200 beers on tap, more than the Flying Saucer.

I will be there!

Same thing... I mean they are in "business" - the business of separating you from your money in the name of God! heh (don't flame me, I'm just kidding!)

One thing I have noticed is the amount of churches and the people who appear to "work" for them fulltime. It's pretty amazing.
