Did you just watch the movie 2012. Anyway, all over the US is susceptible to earthquakes. Some places just have them more frequently than others. The earth plates are always moving.
2. Why the heck cannot not go into a Harris Teeter (or any other super market) and find a nice inventory of organic food. And don't say Trader Joes. It's pretty pathetic)
3. Night Life - Pretty weak
Pluses -
A decent size educated workforce; good paying jobs (minus the recession).
Fairly clean town
Yes - it's not bad. Overpriced though. But again - why cannot I not go up the street the local supermarket and buy some Organic goods. It's very annoying.
And I was not being sarcastic or nasty regarding the vinyl houses. It's ridiculous.
And it wasnt taken sarcasticly....Honestly where are the neighborhoods with the 'BRICK HOMES"...Why doesnt Charlotte have a ton of neighborhood with brick homes instead of the horrid vinyl.

Probably because there isn't a lot of demand for organic products. You could try talking to the store managers & seeing if they'd be willing to broaden their selections.
As for vinyl sided houses there's an abundance of them because they don't require any maintenance & they're cheaper than stucco, stone or clapboards.
Brick or Hardiplank - that's it. Vinyl is cheap; cheap looking; and does require maintenance (just not painting every 5-6 years)
